A 12-year-old boy from Oklahoma, who had been missing, was found safe. This happened just days after his mom and stepdad were arrested. They were suspected of abusing him.

The boy was found in Caddo County, near a small town called Cement. How he got there is still a mystery. He was checked by doctors and seems to be okay. He was in good spirits when he was found.

Hundreds of people helped search for him. A group called the United Cajun Navy found him around noon. They are a volunteer search-and-rescue team.

The boy was last seen in Chickasha, about 24 miles from where he was found. The police had issued an alert, saying he was missing and in danger.

The boy's mom, Kimberly Cole, and his stepdad, George Cole, were arrested. They are in jail in Caddo County. The local district attorney plans to press charges against them.

The boy is now with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. They will make sure he is placed in a safe home.
