First flying in 2008, Embraer's Phenom 100 is the entry-level business jet for the Brazilian manufacturer. It has evolved in many ways. The Phenom 100E added spoilers for better performance. Its successor, the 100EV, swapped engines for more thrust and updated avionics. The latest model, the 100EX, debuted at NBAA 2023, featuring a safety system called ROAAS, which helps pilots land safely.

Several governments and the military use the Phenom 100. For example, the United Arab Emirates trains pilots, and Pakistan uses it for VIP transport. The Texas Department of Transportation also has a fleet for passenger transport. Militaries in Brazil and the UK use the U-100 and Phenom T1 for training.

The Phenom 100EX is a Very Light Jet (VLJ) with a straight wing. It can fly up to 1, 178 nautical miles non-stop, powering through on two Pratt & Whitney PW617F1-E engines.
