Johnson, who was 63 at the time, was sentenced to four years in state prison after being found guilty of residential burglary and attempted sexual assault. It all went down one night in April. He was caught by the woman’s boyfriend, who tackled him as he ran away.

The victim, who chose to be identified as Jane Doe, spoke about the deep pain and fear she felt after the incident. She said she no longer feels safe living alone. Johnson, who wasn't her direct boss but was higher in the hospital hierarchy, had been giving her expensive gifts and helping her with groceries. But she made it clear they were just friends. Johnson admitted he was deeply sorry for his actions. He said he ignored the warning signs and went ahead with his plan. The judge considered both the good (no previous criminal history) and the bad (the seriousness of the crime) before handing down the sentence.
