A Game Where Monsters Become Friends and Villages Come Alive

Monster Fantasy is the first game from a small studio in Chengdu, China. With about twenty seasoned developers, the team plans to launch on PC and already has a Steam page ready. A Kickstarter campaign will kick off on July 15 to raise funds.
Gameplay Overview
Dual Paths:
Fight monsters or build a cozy village. Each path progresses independently, giving players freedom to choose their playstyle.Setting:
The Kingdom of Eldoras features valleys, rainforests, frozen plains, and volcanoes. Players begin as a hero who has lost their memory.- Classes (4):
- Warrior: Heavy gear, toggles between offense and defense.
- Mage: Combines elements to craft custom spells.
- Archer: Long‑range specialist.
- Swordsman: Agile dodging and quick strikes.
All characters can learn skills from all classes by using the appropriate weapons, enabling a single hero to master every fighting style.
Combat System
- Dynamic Environment: Day‑night cycles and weather affect monster behavior.
- Monster Interaction:
- Study before combat.
- Recruit villagers as allies (though not all are battle‑ready).
- Hunt over fifty major monsters such as the Nine‑Tailed Fox, Fire Dragon, Griffin, and Squirrel‑Bear.
- Post‑Defeat Mechanics:
- Monsters can be tamed, raised from pup to adult, and even turned into mounts for travel or combat.
Life‑Simulation Features
- Activities: Fishing, mining, chopping wood, farming, cooking, brewing potions, crafting gear, and building a village.
- Village Management:
- Name your settlement.
- Design homes and decorate freely.
- Villagers: Around one hundred distinct personalities to befriend, employ, or send into battle.
- AI Interaction: Real‑time chat with villagers using large‑language models and text‑to‑speech technology.
Release Status
No official release date yet. The game promises a unique blend of action and relaxation that could attract both hardcore gamers and casual players.
