A Heartbreaking Incident

The branch initially knocked Luis unconscious. When emergency responders arrived, they found him in cardiac arrest. Despite their valiant efforts, the weight of the branch prevented them from lifting it quickly enough to save him.

The city stated that the tree was inspected in January 2024, and no issues were identified. They also claimed there were no records of maintenance requests for that specific tree.
