A Mix of Stars in New The White Lotus Season

The newest cast of The White Lotus Season 3 has arrived. The series, created by Mike White and featuring Thailand and its stunning scenery as the backdrop for their stay, is making a comeback with a bunch of new faces. The newest season includes stars like Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Lalisa Manobal and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Viewers can also look forward to Natasha Rothwell returning to the show for another exciting season. Natasha did not initially anticipate returning to the series, so fans can imagine how over the moon she was to be asked back on board. She enthusiastically read all scripts in no time. Realize this time she has the rare opportunity to continue her role without Jennifer Coolidge, which she was sad about, but we suspect the two still kept in touch. Rothwell never thought Belinda’s tale would continue, but she’s glad she did, especially since there was a great positive energy during filming. We can look forward to seeing Parker Posey take on the role of a demanding southern mum, Victoria Ratliff. She is married to Jason Isaacs’ character. Posey describes her character as a mother who struggles with her own needs and vulnerabilities. Victoria's personality is a mix of a pampered child but is very much a narcissist. Even though Posey has a starring role in the show, she has seen very little of the filming, and it's not certain if she will catch up with the show at all. She even joked about the idea of watching it. She even mentioned that just thinking about it made her uncomfortable.

Jason Isaacs wasn't shy about sharing his thoughts on the shooting experiences in Thailand for an extended period. The crew and cast often faced extreme heat, and it became a unique mix of paradise, prison, summer camp and even described it as a wild animal encounter. Walton Goggins plays a role that slowly builds tension for the viewer and reveals a deeper message. His character is kept hidden from the viewer, and every episode feels like a slow burn and many of his characters motivations are unclear. He says, that every character in the show is special. Goggins notes that his character’s backstory builds up gradually, offering a meaningful takeaway at the end. Speaking of new faces, Lalisa Manobal, a member of the popular K-Pop group Blackpink brings fresh energy to the show. It's great to see that Blackpink fans will have a much anticipated introduction. Lalisa will be seen in a strong character, charming viewers at the resort in season 3. Fans of the show will be looking forward to rotating casts and seeing what the creators come up with!
