One was benign, while the other was cancerous. Doctors believe that regular screenings might have detected the cancer at Stage 0, which is when it is still confined to the breast tissue.

Despite the delay, the cancer had not spread and was growing slowly. Tina underwent a lumpectomy in August to remove the tumor from her left breast. She is now cancer-free. Her daughters and close friends rallied around her, providing support and comfort before her surgery. Solange and niece Angie Beyincé even sang a special song to her, reminding her of God's protection.

Tina almost missed the Glamour's 2024 Women of the Year event due to a serious post-surgical infection. Her family, particularly Beyoncé, insisted she prioritize her health and rest.
