A Quiet Shift Toward Power
The United States is slowly moving away from a system where people choose their leaders. A new order says that anyone who talks against the government can be treated as a terrorist. This rule, written in September 2025, ignores the First Amendment.
A group of officials, led by a senior aide to the president, enforces this rule. They have already taken action against protestors and activists:
- Nine people charged, eight found guilty, for distributing pamphlets or joining protests.
- Other cases involve people who posted an immigration officer’s name online and were followed by federal agents.
The plan also includes:
- Building more prisons for political prisoners.
- Hiring a private army of border agents to patrol cities and airports.
- Removing many people who check if the military acts legally.
Because of this plan, voting programs in Ohio and California have been attacked. Ballots from 2020 were seized in Atlanta, and there is talk of controlling elections in states the president lost.
The president’s popularity is falling, yet he keeps claiming that 2020 elections were hacked. He possesses secret powers that can:
- Shut down the internet.
- Close banks.
- Take over voting machines.
If he uses them, democracy could end and a dictatorship might begin. Some experts say the president will declare an emergency to use these powers, calling it a “rolling coup.”
The plan is hidden, but the pieces fit together when you look at all the actions.
What Can People Do?
- Citizens, groups, churches, and unions must warn each other.
- They need to ask lawmakers, attorneys general, and governors to listen.
Time is short before the next election.
