- A whimsical carousel
- Dancing marionettes
- Santa's workshop
- Elves, snowmen, reindeer, and festive props
A Quarter-Century of Giving
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the DiMartinos' spectacular display, which has grown significantly since its humble beginnings.
- First Year: Raised $1,600 for pediatric cancer patients
- Last Year: Shattered records with $82,620 in donations
- This Year's Goal: Joseph DiMartino aims to raise $90,000, with a generous $500 contribution from the Italian Club of Staten Island Foundation
Interactive and Festive
The display now includes:

- Live performances by local artists and school groups
- Hosted by popular radio personalities Joe Causi and Vinnie Medugno

A Community Event
The DiMartinos' home was bustling with activity:
- Live performances
- Camp S’mores truck offering treats
- NYPD’s 123rd Precinct ensuring safety as Sharrotts Road was closed to accommodate the large crowd
Joe Causi, a longtime friend of the DiMartinos, reflected on the event's growth and its impact on the community.
Support the Cause
Viewing the display is free, but donations are encouraged to support the Pediatric Cancer Unit. Visitors are invited to share their experiences on social media using #LightsForLife.
On December 16th, Northwell’s Staten Island University Hospital will join the DiMartinos for a Day of Surprises, adding to the festive spirit.
