A Tragic Night of Loss: Midair Collision Cuts Lives Short

A terrible disaster happened over Virginia’s Potomac River on a Wednesday night. The midair collision between a jet, the American Airlines regional jet, and a army helicopter, the Black Hawk, left no survivors and shattered many lives. You can see how much the skaters loved the sport and was very dedicated to it. Jinna’s mother, Christine Lane, was also on the flight and was described as someone who "just connected with everyone. " The plane also carried Spencer Lane, a young and enthusiastic Olympic hopeful figure skater. His father Douglas Lane said that his wife Christine was a very social person and everyone loved her.
