If we want to tackle this problem, it starts with changing norms and ending power imbalances and economic disadvantages.
Teens who come from wealthier homes or have good relationships with their families tend to be protected.
Emotional support and social norms are crucial. Adults, peers, and the surrounding environments are all crucial areas to consider.
This is a tough issue. The government is doing what they can, but they are working with little. More community engagement is pivotal for progress.
Other questions arise. What are they doing in other parts of the country? Are the patterns the same? Are teens getting the help they need? Who is responsible?
Other countries in the region are seeing the same problem. This needs to be an international problem.
