A voice actor for a new video game has decided to step away because of health concerns.  

The character she was playing is named Gwendolyn, and the game is still being made by Eclipse Glow Games.  

The studio announced this on its social media page on the 18th of the month.  

They said they are sorry to hear about her situation and that they wish her a quick recovery.  

The actor will finish the voice parts needed for the demo shown at Gamescom 2026.  

After that, she will stay on as an adviser to keep the character’s voice consistent.

No one has been chosen yet to take over the role.  

The actress is from Britain and had previous voice work in popular games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.  

The studio is grateful for her past contributions and hopes she feels better soon.
