Nicholas Pryor, famously known for his roles in "Risky Business" and "Beverly Hills, 90210," has sadly left us at the age of 89. He died peacefully at his home in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Monday, after a battle with cancer. Born in Baltimore in 1935, Pryor began his long acting career with an appearance in "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" in 1961. One of his most memorable roles was in the 1983 film "Risky Business," where he played the dad of the young Tom Cruise. Pryor's acting career spanned over five decades, including significant roles in films like "The Falcon and the Snowman," "The Happy Hooker," and "Collateral Damage," to name a few. On the small screen, Pryor made a notable impact. He played the part of A. Milton Arnold in "Beverly Hills, 90210" from 1994 to 1997. His character shared the screen with Kathleen Robertson, who played his daughter. Pryor also appeared in various TV shows such as "Another World," "NYPD Blue," and "The Bronx Zoo." Among his many appearances, Pryor had a recurring role as former spy Victor Collins on "General Hospital" and its spinoff "Port Charles." Jon Lindstrom, who worked with Pryor on these shows, paid a warm tribute to him on Instagram, expressing the actor's exceptional talent and friendship. Pryor's final acting role was in the 2021 film "Halloween Kills."
