Instead of the usual 100,000+ fans, only around 28,934 are expected at Vanderbilt’s FirstBank Stadium due to construction limits. This will be Alabama's smallest crowd in an SEC game since 1963, excluding COVID-affected seasons. Alabama is no stranger to massive crowds and intense rivalries. Yet, the shift from a packed stadium to one with limited capacity can feel dramatic. The energy changes from a loud rock concert to a quiet guitar performance. But the team doesn’t seem bothered. They're coming off a high note after defeating Georgia 41-34. Quarterback Jalen Milroe showed exceptional skill, completing 27 passes out of 33 and earning 374 yards with three touchdowns. Freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams also shone, racking up 177 yards against the Bulldogs’ defense.

Alabama remains undefeated this season and has a 23-game winning streak against Vanderbilt. Though Vanderbilt's quarterback Diego Pavia impressed with his dual-threat skills against Missouri, it might not be enough to stop Alabama’s momentum. Alabama is the favorite, and their focus remains sharp despite the smaller crowd. The stakes are high. Alabama needs to prove they can handle different situations. They won't have their usual home advantage, but they'll certainly face a challenging game against Vanderbilt.
