Potter County Students Earn Prestigious Oklahoma State University Awards
- Maddie Barnett (Animal Science) received the Joseph Fleming Memorial Continuing Scholarship and was later inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest honor society.
- Lainey McCubbin (Animal Science) was awarded the Clyde R. Evans Annual Scholarship.
Both honors were presented at a banquet on March 26, celebrating academic excellence and alumni generosity.
Ferguson College of Agriculture
- Hub for agricultural education: 16 majors, over 60 student groups.
- Programs nurture intellectual growth and prepare students for careers in farming, research, and related fields.
- Scholarships are part of a $1.8 million support package that can be combined with other departmental and university honors.
