Amazon's newest Citadel spin-off, Citadel: Diana, has made quite a splash. The show, which stars Matilda De Angelis, has become the most-watched Italian original series globally in its first weekend. This isn't just a big deal in Italy—it's also topping the charts in the U. S. , UK, and has cracked the top five in over 150 countries, including heavyweights like Canada, Australia, and India. This is a massive win for Amazon, especially when it comes to international viewership of Italian-language content. The success of Citadel: Diana has also sparked interest in the U.
