Instead, Amazon wants a fresh perspective on the story of Kratos and his son. The series is based on the 2018 game that shifted from Greek to Norse mythology. Kratos and his son embark on a dangerous journey to fulfill his wife's final wish, facing new gods and monsters along the way. The project is a collaboration between Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with several key figures still involved.
