ChinaFriday, March 7, 2025
AMD's new CPUs are part of their Zen 5 architecture. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D will have a base clock speed of 4. 3 GHz and a boost clock speed of 5. 7 GHz. It will have 128 MB of L3 cache and 16 MB of L2 cache. The Ryzen 9 9900X3D will have a base clock speed of 4. 4 GHz and a boost clock speed of 5. 5 GHz. It will have 64 MB of L3 cache and 12 MB of L2 cache. Both CPUs will support DDR5-5600 memory and have a TDP of 170W and 120W respectively.
These new CPUs are exciting, but they also raise questions. Will the higher prices be worth the performance boost? How will they compare to Intel's latest offerings? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: AMD is pushing the boundaries of what's possible with desktop CPUs.
