American Freed After Two Years in Taliban Custody

Before the current administration, two Americans were released from Afghanistan in exchange for an Afghan prisoner serving time in the US. This exchange involved Ryan Corbett and William Wallace McKenty, who were freed in exchange for Khan Mohmmad, an Afghan imprisoned in California on drug trafficking and terrorism charges. The release of Glezmann raises questions about the ongoing negotiations and the conditions of other detainees.
