The doctors had to do surgery to remove the pregnancy, and they did this by combining two procedures. One was looking inside the uterus, and the other was a small cut in the belly. After the surgery, they looked at the removed tissue and confirmed it was indeed a cornual pregnancy.
Luckily, the woman recovered well. But for future pregnancies, doctors advised her to have a C-section around 36-37 weeks to avoid having the uterus tear again.
