The Tech Giant Claims Secrets Were Stolen

Jon Prosser finds himself in a legal dispute with Apple. The company alleges that Prosser stole their secrets, while Prosser claims he has been in communication with Apple throughout.

The Lawsuit

Apple filed a lawsuit in July. Prosser did not respond by the deadline. As a result, Apple asked the court to proceed.

Prosser maintains that he has been in touch with Apple but cannot disclose further details. He denies ignoring the case.

Apple's lawyers assert that they served Prosser with the lawsuit and instructed him to respond by August 19th. However, Prosser did not comply. Apple claims they reached out to Prosser about the lawsuit, but he still did not respond.

The Allegations

Apple's lawsuit is severe. They allege that Prosser and another individual had a plan to steal Apple's secrets and profit from them. Apple claims that one of the defendants accessed a friend's iPhone. This friend worked at Apple and showed Prosser secret features. Prosser then created videos showcasing new iOS features that were not yet public.

Prosser's videos revealed changes to the Camera app and hints of a new design language. Apple identifies this as iOS 19, later named iOS 26. Prosser's videos were released before Apple's official announcement, strengthening Apple's case.

However, Prosser insists he has been communicating with Apple. The court will ultimately determine the truth.
