Apple Unveils Two Fresh Apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac

USASaturday, March 28, 2026
Apple is set to launch two new applications this year that will change how people use their devices. The first is a business tool designed to help companies manage apps, contacts and support requests all in one place. It will arrive on April 14th and will replace three older services, giving a single streamlined experience for employees. The second app will turn Siri into a chat‑style helper that works with both text and voice. Users can talk to it or type their questions, and the app will remember past conversations so they can pick up where they left off.
Both apps are planned for iOS, iPadOS and macOS, but they will need the newest operating system versions—26 for the business app and 27 for the Siri chat. The business tool will let workers download work apps, view their coworkers’ contact details and request IT help directly from the device. Meanwhile, the Siri chat will compete with popular AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini, offering a more natural way to get information or automate tasks. Apple’s move signals the company’s push toward integrated work and personal productivity, giving users more power from their everyday devices.
