Apple's Next iPad Pro: What's New and What's Not?
South KoreaWednesday, June 25, 2025
The new iPad Pro models might not have many big changes. The main upgrade seems to be the M5 chip, which is expected to be more powerful and efficient thanks to TSMC's advanced 3-nanometer process technology. There's also a rumor that the Apple logo on the back might change to a landscape orientation, so it looks upright when the iPad is in landscape mode, like when using a keyboard.
Last year's iPad Pro models got a thinner and lighter design, support for the Apple Pencil Pro, and more. This year, the updates seem to be more about small improvements rather than big changes. The new models are expected to launch around October, following the pattern of last year's May release for the M4 iPad Pro models.
