The storm has also affected other delivery services. Amazon, a major player in e-commerce, has halted deliveries in some parts of Arkansas. The company's LIT2 facility in Central Arkansas was closed on Monday because of the weather. Amazon spokesman Richard Rocha stated that the company is carefully monitoring the conditions to ensure the safety of its workers while trying to deliver orders.
DoorDash Suspends Operations in Little Rock
The storm's impact extends beyond mail and package deliveries. DoorDash, a San Francisco-based delivery company, also temporarily suspended its operations in Little Rock over the weekend. The frigid temperatures and icy roads have made it difficult for delivery services to operate efficiently.
USPS Financial Struggles Add Complexity

The USPS reported a net loss of $9 billion in the past fiscal year, despite a slight increase in operating revenue. Ike Mills, president of the Northwest Arkansas Area Local 667 of the American Postal Workers Union, highlighted that the bigger challenge is delivering mail into and out of the area from other cities and states.
