Ashley Darby's Divorce and Dating Update

Ashley Darby, the star of Real Housewives of Potomac, recently opened up about her divorce and dating life on Watch What Happens Live. The 36-year-old filed for divorce from her 65-year-old husband, Michael, in November 2024. She shared that the divorce is currently in the hands of Virginia State officials. Despite the ongoing process, Ashley and Michael have improved their co-parenting skills. The couple has two young children, Dean, 5, and Dylan, 3. They’ve come a long way from parallel parenting, where they focused solely on the kids, to now successfully co-parenting.

One of their kids, Dean, recently asked Ashley, “Why don’t you and Daddy live together? ” Ashley explained to her kids that they simply live in different homes now. Outside of parenting, both Ashley and Michael have moved on to dating other people. Ashley is currently seeing Josh Gudenburr, a man she met at a speed dating event featured on the show. She considers him a good guy and enjoys their relationship, though they don’t have any labels yet. Post-separation, Ashley also briefly dated actor Luke Gulbranson. Michael has also been exploring the dating scene, as Ashley revealed. “Michael’s out every weekend, ” she said, adding that she often hears about his dates from others. Although they are no longer romantically involved, both Ashley and Michael wish each other well. They acknowledge that they are in different stages of life with separate future goals. The divorce filing comes two years after they announced their separation in 2022 and eight years after their 2014 marriage.
