In Tokyo, she will sit down with Japan’s foreign minister to hash out ways to keep supplies steady and discuss the wider regional fallout.  

A week later, she heads to Beijing for the eighth Australia‑China Strategic Dialogue, where both sides aim to push forward shared goals while smoothing out disagreements.  

Her final stop is Seoul, where she will meet South Korea’s foreign minister. The South Korean government supplies a large share of Australia’s refined oil, so the meeting will focus on securing that flow.  

Australia imports almost all of its energy and has felt the pinch from supply gaps since the conflict began in February.  

These talks are meant to strengthen coordination and protect Australia’s energy needs amid global market turmoil.
