Two Yankees fans, Austin Capobianco and John Peter, found themselves in the spotlight after interfering with a play. They grabbed Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts' glove, successfully taking away a foul ball hit by Gleyber Torres. This led to them being ejected from the stadium. Capobianco, a season ticket holder, shared that the fans had a plan and were ready to act if the ball came their way.

They were informed they could return for Game 5 the next day. Betts, however, was more focused on the game's outcome than the incident. The Dodgers won 11-4, and Betts downplayed the event, saying, "We lost the game, and that's what I'm kind of focused on. " This wasn't the only fan interference in the series; a similar incident occurred in Game 1 at Dodger Stadium.
