Overview
Kutztown University is set to host the 2026 Berks County Science Olympiad. This prestigious event will bring together over 300 high school students from Berks County and surrounding areas to compete in various STEM events.

About the Science Olympiad
- Established: 41 years ago
- Mission: A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving K-12 science education and fostering student interest in science.
- Activities: Classroom activities, research, workshops, and tournaments at various levels.
Event Structure
- Levels: Invitational, Regional, State, and National
- Teams: Each school sends one team to compete.
- Roles: High school teachers serve as coaches, judges, and coordinators.
- Invitational Level: Acts as a practice round for regional competitions; no teams are eliminated at this level.
