Bitcoin’s Big Milestone: What Comes Next?

The crypto world just hit a big number: Bitcoin reached $100, 000. We've all heard about it, but what's next? Figuring out the value of Bitcoin isn't easy; people use different ways to guess what it's worth. One guide from the CFA Institute suggests four methods: imagining everyone switched to Bitcoin, valuing it like gold because there's not much of it, seeing it as a social network, or treating it like a product of electricity and computing power. But those methods are boring and don't capture the excitement of hitting a big number.

So, we decided to try something different. We went back to the Renaissance times for a method that's older and maybe just as reliable – cartomancy or tarot reading. After some searching, we picked the Rider-Waite method because it's been around for a long time. We went online and picked some cards. The first one, representing Bitcoin's past, was the Three of Wands. That might mean expansion and adventure. The second card, for the present, was the Ten of Swords, upside down. That could mean short-term gains but also denial and a victim mentality. The final card, for Bitcoin's future, was the Knight of Pentacles. That could mean hard work, responsibility, and financial stability. It sounds like the future might be more about institutions taking over.
