Bitcoin's Boom: Politics and Economy Fuel the Crypto Rally

He shared in a CNBC Pro Talks interview that 2024 was a fantastic year for crypto, driven by a strong economy and the Federal Reserve's interest rate cuts. Bitcoin, in particular, had an amazing run, soaring over 100% and breaking the $100, 000 threshold for the first time.

The launch of spot bitcoin ETFs also gave the digital currency a boost. Additionally, Donald Trump's reelection, with his crypto-friendly campaign stance, brought expectations of easier regulations. This mainstream acceptance means bitcoin is now part of many investment portfolios. Pandl emphasized that bitcoin's position is secure. "It's here to stay, " he said, referring to the increased discussion and regulation expected at the White House.
