Blue Origin's New Glenn Rocket Launch Halted Due to Technical Glitch

Blue Origin, the space company founded by Jeff Bezos, had to cancel the first launch of its giant New Glenn rocket. The rocket, standing at 320 feet (98 meters), was set to blast off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida before dawn on Monday. However, a last-minute technical issue forced launch controllers to stop the countdown and drain all the fuel from the rocket. The problem hasn't been specified yet, and the team needs more time to solve it. This isn't the first delay for the New Glenn.

Earlier, rough seas had postponed the launch, as the company planned to land the first-stage booster on a floating platform in the Atlantic. Named after astronaut John Glenn, the New Glenn is much taller than Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket, which carries tourists to the edge of space from Texas. Bezos was present at Mission Control during the countdown, located near NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Despite the setback, Bezos remains optimistic, stating that they will keep moving forward.
