Bo Jackson Joins North Alabama Football Coaching Team
Vincent "Bo" Jackson is the new outside linebackers coach for North Alabama football. Though he shares a name with the famous Bo Jackson from Auburn, this Bo has a strong connection to North Alabama, making head coach Brent Dearmon thrilled to have him on board.
A Lion Through and Through
Bo is a proud graduate of North Alabama, where he played from 2005 to 2007. During his time, the team achieved an impressive 44 wins and only 8 losses. Before joining North Alabama, he served as a defensive coordinator at Sheffield High School and was an All-State honorable mention player in high school.
Expanding the Coaching Staff
North Alabama's coaching team is growing stronger:
- Clint Bowen – Defensive Coordinator & Assistant Head Coach
- Colby Ellis – Wide Receivers Coach
- Max Halpin – Offensive Line & Run Game Coach
A Dream Come True
Bo is excited about his new role, calling it "a dream come true." He believes the team's experience will elevate their performance. With a deep love for North Alabama—having first stepped on campus 20 years ago—this promotion marks a full-circle moment for him.
