Brain-Tracking Headphones: Gimmick or Game-Changer?
USAMonday, October 21, 2024
The idea is cool, but the execution might not be worth the $700 price tag. You need to wear these headphones all day, manually start and stop sessions, and keep the app running. They don't support Bluetooth Multipoint, so you can't use them with multiple devices. Plus, the data isn't real-time, and the notifications might interrupt your workflow rather than help it.
While the tech is promising, it's not quite there yet. One day, brain health tracking could be as common as heart health tracking. But for now, these headphones are more of a curiosity than a necessity. If you're into gadgets and have the cash to spare, give them a try. Just don't expect them to revolutionize your productivity.
