Career Choices: What Makes Someone Dateable?

Ever wondered what makes someone a great catch? According to a recent survey, those working in healthcare are at the top of the list. Both men and women agreed that healthcare professionals are the most attractive partners. Doctors were the favorites, with 26% of respondents choosing them. Nurses also ranked high, coming in third place. Why healthcare? It seems people like the mix of financial stability, intelligence, and caregiving that these jobs offer. Plus, being open about your career is a big plus. Around 22% of people want to talk about work values and goals before the first date.

Educators came in second, with 23% of the vote. Men were more into this career choice than women (28% vs. 19%). Other top jobs included lawyers, scientists, and tech workers. Money isn't everything, though. People want their partners to love their jobs (40%), have a good work-life balance (34%), and be lifelong learners (28%). On the flip side, constant burnout and long work hours are big turn-offs.
