Casting Magic: New Faces for the Harry Potter TV Series

The Harry Potter TV series is gearing up with a fresh cast. Four main roles and two supporting parts have been filled. John Lithgow will step into the shoes of Albus Dumbledore. The series is being developed by writer/showrunner Francesca Gardiner. Mark Mylod will direct multiple episodes for HBO. The production is a joint effort with Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television. The streamer promises a faithful adaptation of the beloved Harry Potter book series.
