Singer and actress Mandy Moore, based in Altadena, also shared her devastation on social media, showing smoke-filled skies and destroyed buildings. Her children's school and favorite restaurants were among the casualties. Veteran actor Billy Crystal and his wife, Janice, said goodbye to their 45-year-old home filled with memories. Actor James Woods helped his elderly neighbor escape the fires, lamenting the sudden loss of his home and pool. "One day you're swimming, the next day it's all gone, " he shared in a CNN interview.
