Chicago is about to see a big change in the weather.

A winter storm is coming. It might dump more than 10 inches of snow in some areas. The National Weather Service says this will be the first big snowfall in nearly five years.

  • Last winter: One of the least snowy on record
  • O'Hare Airport: Only 11.9 inches of snow (lowest since 1937)
