By taking a closer look at these non-commodity plastics and improving the data we have on them, we can start to address some of these gaps. This will help us make better decisions and reduce plastic pollution more effectively. It's clear that we need to rethink how we define and manage plastics. By focusing on these often-overlooked non-commodity plastics, we can start to fill in the gaps in our knowledge and create more effective strategies for reducing plastic waste.
