The documentary features a woman known as Jane Doe, who accused Brown of sexual assault. Brown's lawsuit names her as a defendant. He says her claims were made up and that she has a history of violence herself. The lawsuit mentions a restraining order filed against her by an ex-boyfriend, showing she physically assaulted him. Brown's lawyers argue that the documentary ignored these facts and portrayed Jane Doe as a reliable source. They say this has caused harm to Brown's reputation and career. Brown is seeking $500 million in damages, some of which he plans to donate to survivors of sexual abuse.
