Water pollution is a growing worry. Harmful chemicals in our water sources jeopardize our health and the environment. Tackling this problem needs better laws, public awareness, and most importantly, innovative technologies to clean up polluted waters. Metal-organic frameworks, or MOFs, stand out because of their special properties. In particular, bioMOFs made with oxamidato have shown remarkable toughness, adaptability, and stability in water. These tiny structures can soak up pollutants like a sponge, making them excellent tools for water cleanup. This review shares some amazing results of using these bioMOFs in water remediation. But it's not all smooth sailing. There are challenges to tackle before MOFs can be widely used to help keep our waters clean and push towards sustainable living.
