About the Camp

It marks the first time the long‑running Sports Broadcasting Camp—originally rooted in New Jersey and known for producing alumni who now work at major networks—will host an event in the Midwest.

Driving Force: John Fanta

• Background: Native of Northeast Ohio, college‑basketball play‑by‑play announcer for NBC Sports.
• Experience: Former Fox anchor, preparing to cover his first NBA game.
• Role at Camp: Annual speaker, encouraging kids to “take any job and give it your all.”
