Los Angeles, USAFriday, October 25, 2024
The movie business has changed a lot since the pandemic. Studios think it's risky to show adult dramas in theaters now. Clint Eastwood's last movie, "Cry Macho, " didn't do well at the box office. This might be why Warner Bros. isn't expecting much from "Juror #2. "
The studio has worked with Clint Eastwood for a long time. So, showing the movie in theaters could be a thank you for all the money and awards he's brought them. But is a small release the right way to treat a movie legend? Maybe not. But in today's movie business, this might be the best they can do.
