Combining Threads and Fillers: A New Approach to Facial Rejuvenation

Today, people are turning to non-surgical alternatives to give their faces a youthful boost. One technique gaining popularity is using threads and fillers together. A recent study tested this combo on 52 adults. With an average age of 48, these folks got three pairs of threads in their mid and lower faces, plus one pair for their eyebrows. At the same time, they had about 5 milliliters of fillers added.

The plan was to enhance the lifting effect of the threads. The study followed these patients for 32 months. Most of them – 42 to be exact – were happy with the results. Only one person wasn't satisfied. This person had to get the threads removed due to an infection. The key takeaway? This method works best in a sterile environment. Mess it up, and you could face failure and unreliable results.
