Community Pride Festival Brings Music, Art and Unity to Blue Hill

Saturday, June 20 – Opening Day
- 10:30 a.m. – Interfaith Service at St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church
A moment of reflection and hope for all faiths, free to attend.
- 11:00 a.m. – Pride Festival in front of the First Congregational Church
- Vendors sell food and crafts, music fills the streets, dancers perform on site.
Non‑profit booths offer educational resources; national storytelling portraits displayed.
- 2:00 p.m. – Parade starts at the same location
- Weaves through downtown, loops around the post office parking lot.
- Ends at Devil’s Half Acre for dancing and refreshments.
- Parade attendees receive a discount on drinks at the after‑party.
- Evening – After‑Party continues at Devil’s Half Acre.
Monday, June 22 – Queer Art Lecture
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Lecture at Blue Hill Public Library
- Speakers discuss how art reflects and shapes LGBTQ+ identities.
- Hosted in partnership with Peninsula Pride.
Sunday, June 28 – Drag Party
- 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – All‑Ages Drag Party at the new Astro venue in Brooklin
- Live music, pop‑up design shop, food & drinks.
- Glitter bar, costume corner, and other inclusive activities.
