As HIV medications (ARVs) have become more common, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are experiencing fewer physical symptoms. This shift has turned the spotlight onto their mental health and overall quality of life. Researchers are now keen on understanding how death anxiety and depression are linked for men living with HIV/AIDS (MLWHA). This study takes a fresh look at this connection using network analysis. Death anxiety is the fear or worry about dying, while depression is a persistent feeling of sadness and hopelessness. Researchers believe thatMLWHA may face unique challenges that intensify these feelings. For instance, the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS can lead to isolation, which in turn may fuel both death anxiety and depression. This study aims to map out how these feelings interact and influence each other, offering a new perspective on mental health in this group.
