Cooper Flagg: From Maine to NBA Dreams

Meet Cooper Flagg, a Maine native who's making waves in the basketball world. At just 17, he's already signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Gatorade, becoming the first men's college basketball player to do so. This isn't his first big break, though. He's also got a shoe deal with New Balance, a company close to his hometown. Flagg's journey started at Nokomis Regional High, where he led his team to a state championship and was named Maine's Gatorade Player of the Year. He then moved to Montverde Academy in Florida, where he became one of the most sought-after recruits in the country. His skills caught the eye of Duke University, and he's now a freshman there.

Even before his first official college game, Flagg has shown his potential. He scored 22 points in an exhibition game and is projected to be the No. 1 pick in next year's NBA Draft.
