Corsair Brings Gaming Gear to Mac Users with K65 Plus Keyboard and M75 Mouse

Looking to bridge the gap in gaming accessories for Apple users, Corsair has introduced Mac-specific versions of two popular peripherals: the K65 Plus keyboard and the M75 mouse. These wireless devices are designed to offer high-performance features tailored for Mac aesthetics and functionalities. However, they come at a premium price point and may have compatibility issues with newer Mac models. The K65 Plus keyboard is compact, featuring a 75-percent layout and Corsair's MLX Red v2 linear switches, promising a smooth and quiet typing experience. It includes Mac-specific icons and function keys, and supports customization through iCue software, now available for Mac. The keyboard boasts a long battery life, lasting up to 266 hours on a single charge, and connects via a dedicated USB dongle or Bluetooth. Considering the shift to USB-C, Corsair thoughtfully includes a USB-C adapter in the package.

The M75 mouse is designed to be ambidextrous, weighing just 89g, and offers connectivity through Corsair's Slipstream technology or Bluetooth, providing near-zero lag and high-precision tracking. Like the keyboard, the mouse can be customized through the iCue software. Available through Apple's store, the K65 Plus keyboard is priced at $179. 95, and the M75 mouse is priced at $129. 95. Both devices come in glacier blue and white variants, although only white is currently in stock. With these releases, Corsair aims to tap into the growing market of Mac gamers, providing options for specialized accessories that have traditionally been lacking. As Apple continues to enhance its gaming capabilities, especially with Arm-based platforms, this move by Corsair could signal a shift in the gaming peripheral market.
