Costco employees may protest at midnight!

Issues are brewing at Costco. Most of Costcos' stores are prepared to strike with midnight coming closer. The notable Teamsters workers union persuaded thousands to back them. The company is refusing to cooperate in with union's demands. The Teamsters believe Costco needs will have to boost their offer. Costco employs some 219, 000 people in the US, as this includes about 617 stores across the country. The majority of Costco workers are left unaffected by the issue. . Union members are upset that Costco sales grew to nearly $254 million and received record profits, up 5 percent from the previous year. Very few stores will be closed due to the strike. 5% profit sucks to those strikers.

The contract lasts up to 3 years with no wage increases for their workers. Teamsters workers demanded better compensation. The Company's success stems from the employees hard work! Teamsters are warning Costco to take care of their employees better or they\'ll shut Costcos' Stores down. This scenario is delicate for the teamsters as the selling point is record-breaking earnings. Yet, the general attitude that's emerging is Costco has been ungrateful to their employees that managed to achieve those profits. Employees feel that they have genuinely earned better compensation and are fed up dealing with negligible wage bumps despite rapid corporate growth. Rarely will an effective company go down due to employee protests. This potentially saves Costco from having to deal with harmful repercussions of unfortunate mistakes.
