Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown's reelection campaign received two donations totaling $350 from a woman who had passed away months earlier, prompting an investigation by the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
The contributions were made in May but the woman, Carol Ann Baker of Toledo, died in December 2023.
This has raised questions about Brown's campaign vetting process and whether any rules were broken.
