Diego Boneta's Novel Gets Amazon Series Adaptation

Diego Boneta is stepping into the spotlight both as an actor and producer with the new Amazon MGM Studios series, "The Undoing of Alejandro Velasco. " This psychological thriller is unlike any other, as it's based on Boneta's own debut novel, which is set to be released in May. The story revolves around Julian Villareal, played by Boneta, who visits the wealthy Velasco family after the death of his close friend and tennis rival, Alejandro. As Julian gets drawn into the family's luxurious lifestyle and their daughter Sofia's mysterious charm, he realizes that Alejandro's death was not an accident. This secret is just the tip of the iceberg as Julian delves deeper into the Velasco family's web of power and deceit.

He uncovers dangerous enemies eager to take down the family by any means necessary, including blackmail, revenge, and even murder. Julian's quest for answers only pulls him further into this deadly game, where the biggest mystery might be Sofia's true intentions. The series is being written by Oliver Goldstick and Natalia Castells-Esquivel, with a team of producers including Patrick Moran, Lynley Bird, Lauren Oliver, Lexa Hillyer, and Diego Boneta himself. The novel is set for release on May 13 by Amazon Crossing.
